The repair of the cargo vessel Fri Star Print

 On the day of 12th of February, the cargo vessel “Fri Star” of Norwegian ship owner Kopervik has entered the Shipyard. The class overhaul of the ship includes: hull conservation with anodes exchanging, review and measuring of line shaft as well as seals exchanging. Apart from this the ship propeller is going to be dismantled and assembled. The review and checking the steering gear will be carried out as well as testing of air cooling device SG. Otherwise another reviews will carry the oil cooler SG, the oil cooler of transmission, outboard valves and anchor windlasses. The scope of works involves also dismantling, washing, review and measuring the anchor chain, preservation of anchor chamber, washing, preservation of the hold and repair of the covers if need.
There will be also carried out the steel works on the hull and in the tanks. The overhaul is going to be completed after 8 days.
