The travelling-session of the Parliament National Defence Committee on 26th of October taking place at  the headquartesrs of the Polish Naval Forces included also visit in the Naval Shipyard Gdynia S.A.
A main objective of the visit was the discussion about  prospects of the modernization and the reconstruction of sea forces with the financial support out of  the budget of the MoD and the productive possibilities of our shipyard at an angle of satisfying needs of the Polish Navy.
Along with deputies, on behalf of the MoD, The Junior Minister responsible for the Armament and the Modernization  Mr. Marcin Idzik and the Command of the Navy with its Amdmiral Mr Thomas Mathea took time to pay a visit to the NSG.

The meeting of the Commission with  the NSG’s  Management Board and with the representatives of the Council of Workers and Trades-Unions during which the audiovisual presentation of the Multi-purpose Corvette and the Scorpen type  submarine took place.

Deputies along with Chairman of the Committee Mr. Stanislaw Wziatek while visiting the hall of the corvette’s construction had a possibility to acquaint directly with the workprogress at the construction of the corvette and with the use of previous measures spent on the realization of the 621 project within the GAWRON framework programme.
