Meeting with the representatives of Maritime Search and Rescue Service Print

On the 7th of July 2011 the board of directors and employees of Naval Shipyard Gdynia had an extraordinary meeting with the representatives of Maritime Search and Rescue Service: The  Director General Mr. Marek Długosz, The Main Specialist of the SAR Service investment Division Mr. Tadeusz Struk and the crews of the vessels:  m/s Pasat and m/s Orkan, recently built by Naval Shipyard Gdynia for Maritime Search and Rescue Service.


The subject of the meeting was the summarizing the finished project of building two rescue vessels for SAR Service which will be involved into a search and rescue operations at the Baltic Sea.

The solemnity of this event was emphasized by the decoration of the outstanding shipyard’s specialists and employees engaged during the realization of this project and also deserved guests from Maritime Search and Rescue Service.

The President of Board Mr. Robert Roszkowski and the Assignee in Bankruptcy Mrs. Magdalena Smółka decorated undermentioned People:

Thereby the tradition of the decoration the outstanding people was reactivated for the first time after 20 years in the Naval Shipyard Gdynia.

All present guests and the board of directors of Naval Shipyard entertained  a hope to cooperate successfully in the future for the good of human life.
