Twin screw, single deck steel-hulled fast patrol craft with two storey light alloy superstructure.

ROLE OF THE SHIP

• Protection of territorial waters zone;
• Anti-smuggling and customs operations;
• Surveillance of the Exclusive Economic Zone;
• Offshore protection,
• Escort duties.

FUNCTION OF THE SHIP

• To beach/transport combat equipment and personnel to the amphibious area.
• To enable expeditious launch of the assault.
• Evacuation of personnel from combat area.
• Transport and supply missions.

ACCOMMODATION

All living and service spaces are air conditioned.

PROPULSION

The craft is driven by two diesel engines with reduction-reversing gear box for each engine, two fixed pitch propellers.

ARMAMENT

The ship is fitted with following armament as required by the ship mission:

• three 0.5 cal machine guns (one located fore on main deck and two aft on navigation deck).
• Other armament is possible (example: one twin 23 mm naval mounting and two 0.5 cal machine guns).

INTERCEPTOR BOAT

The ship is provided with two inflatable semi-rigid 6-person boats with OBM, handled by an articulated crane, located aft.
