BULK CARRIER „NEWA” IN NAVAL SHIPYARD S.A. Print

On Saturday, 12th April, the Naval Shipyard started the overhaul of the bulk carrier "NEWA". The scope of works mainly includes hull maintenance, outboard valves repair, seals replacement on the propeller shaft and rudder overview. Moreover it has been decided to carry out cargo hold coaming maintenance, shaft generator repair as well as hull and piping works.
The end of repair is scheduled for Wednesday, 30th April 2014.


 
 
BULK CARRIER „LUNAMAR” IN NAVAL SHIPYARD S.A. Print

On Monday, 14th April 2014 12-days repair of bulk carrier "Lunamar" from German shipowner will end. The scope of work includes hull maintenance, outboard valves repair, seal replacement on the propeller shaft and rudder overview. In addition catch covers maintenance and work to assure their seals tightness are planned. Moreover it has been decided to carry out cargo hold coaming maintenance, shaft generator repair as well as hull and piping works.


 
 
OVERHAUL OF THE BULK CARRIER „ARLAU” Print

On Wednesday, 2nd April 2014, the Naval Shipyard started the renovation of the bulk carrier "Arlau" from German shipowner. The scope of works mainly includes hull maintenance, repair of outboard valves, seals replacement on the propeller shaft and rudder overview. In addition cargo holds, hatch cover and moveable bulkhead maintenance is planned.
The of repair is planned for 14th April 2014


 
 
REPAIR OF SCIENTIFIC RESEARCH UNIT OCEANIA of the Institute of Oceanology, Polish Academy of Science Print

On 18th March 2014 with a one-day delay due to bad weather, scientific research vessel “OCEANIA”of the Institute of Oceanology, Polish Academy of Sciences was undocked in our Shipyard.
Repair works mainly includes hull maintenance, exchange of zinc corrosion protectors on the hull, an overview of the shaft line with the seals, as well as an overview of the rudder and its blade.  In addition piping works in the seawater system, anchor chock review and repair, making fairwater of the log and works related to assembly it on the bottom of the ship are planned.
In addition, the crew will do minor maintenance works - painting on board, as well as maintenance work in the engine room.
The end of repair is planned to be on the 28th March 2014.
