On Tuesday, May 13th 2014, the Naval Shipyard S.A. started the overhaul of bulk carrier “CECILIA”. The scope of works  includes: cleaning and maintenance of the hull, hatch covers and bulkheads, repair of bottom valves, suvey of the rudder, screw propeller and propeller shaft. Besides the above, it was agreed that additional hull and piping works are to be done as well shipowner’s service team will test crane’s aquipment and carry out survey of the main engine and its systems and appliances.
It is planned that the end of this overhaull will be on 23rd of May 2014.
