On Friday, May 9th 2014, the Naval Shipyard SA started the routine repair of the cold storage vessel „Green Bergen”. The scope of woks includes mainly maintenance and painting works with special-purpose ice paint “Ecospeed”, plating thickness measurements, hull works, survey of anchor and anchor cables, cleaning and painting of ballast and fresh water tanks as well repair of coolers, heaters and current generators. It is also planned to verify and overhaul rudder and renew packing on the propeller shaft line.

Repair of the vessel is to be done till May 23rd  2014.
